House State Government Committee to Examine Allegations of Regulatory Overreach by Susquehanna River Basin Commission
WHAT: PA House State Government Committee Chairman Daryl Metcalfe (R-Butler) will convene a public hearing to receive testimony and investigate concerns of regulatory overreach by the Susquehanna River Basin Commission. These include duplicative testing, excessive fees and fines on local municipalities and businesses, as well as the disregard of the professional opinions of Pennsylvania licensed hydrologists and engineers.
WHO: The hearing will feature presentations by Rep. Dan Moul (R-Adams); Andrew Dehoff, executive director, Susquehanna River Basin Commission; and representatives from Appalachian Utilities Inc., Pennsylvania Turfgrass Council and the Bloomfield Borough Water Authority.
