Area Lawmakers to Celebrate Wine Sales at Wegmans’ Downingtown Store

WHAT:    Rep. Duane Milne (R-Chester) and Rep. Harry Lewis Jr. (R-Chester) will join Wegmans officials for the grand opening of wine sales at its Downingtown store. Both lawmakers and the local store manager will be available for interviews and photos.

Permits have been approved so far for more than 200 Pennsylvania grocery stores and other private entities to sell wine as part of privatization measurers outlined in Act 39 of 2016, which was supported by both Milne and Lewis.

WHERE:    Downingtown Wegmans, 1056 East Lancaster Ave., Downingtown.
