Policy Committee Announces Hogan as Deputy Chair on Affordability
HARRISBURG — The Pennsylvania House Republican Policy Committee Chair David H. Rowe (R-Snyder/Union/Mifflin/Juniata) today announced the appointment of Rep. Joe Hogan (R-Bucks) as deputy chair on affordability, a position that will focus on affordability and addressing the rising cost pressures facing Pennsylvania families and employers. In this role, Hogan will help guide the committee’s work examining policies that impact affordability across key areas, including energy, housing, child care, health care, and everyday household costs.
“Affordability is one of the defining challenges facing Pennsylvanians today,” said Rowe. “Rep. Hogan will be instrumental as the committee continues its work to identify policies that lower costs, expand opportunity, and support working families.”
Rep. Hogan said he looks forward to working with committee members and stakeholders across the Commonwealth. “Affordability touches every aspect of daily life—from energy bills to groceries to child care,” Hogan said. “I’m honored to serve in this role and eager to help advance policies that make it easier for Pennsylvanians to live, work, and raise a family in this state.”
With affordability as its guiding priority in the year ahead, the House Republican Policy Committee aims to structure its hearings, tours, and policy discussions around solutions that help lower costs for Pennsylvanians.
