Wentling, Policy Committee to Host Hearing on Strengthening Rural Pennsylvania
WHAT: House Republican Policy Committee Deputy Chairman Dallas Kephart (R-Cambria/Clearfield), Rep. Parke Wentling (R-Mercer) and other lawmakers will host a hearing titled “Strengthening Rural Pennsylvania” to examine strategies to ensure that rural communities remain affordable places to live, work and grow.
WHO: Testifiers will include Rod Wilt, executive director, Penn-Northwest Development Corporation; David George, president and CEO, Joy Cone Company; Scott Ziance, partner, Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP; Jake Rickert, associate executive director, Penn-Northwest Development Corporation; Jim Landino, owner, JCL Development; Mark Longietti, city manager, City of Hermitage; Tom Roskos, executive director, Buhl Park; Mike Kotyk, executive director, Mercer County Regional Council of Governments; Jordan Batt, executive director, Baughman Family Community Center/Buhl Community Recreation Center.
