Grove, House Republicans to Unveil Bills to Combat Fraud, Wasteful Spending of Taxpayer Dollars
WHAT: Working to ensure taxpayer dollars are used to fund the priorities of Pennsylvanians but not fraudulently or misspent, Rep. Seth Grove (R-York), chairman of House Republican Appropriations Committee, and fellow Republicans will unveil a package of legislation during a press conference.
The bills will focus on making sure federal and state taxpayer dollars are spent appropriately on necessary services while preventing fraud, waste and abuse.
WHO: Grove will be joined by Reps. Clint Owlett (R-Tioga/Bradford) and Mike Cabell (R-Luzerne), as well as other members of the General Assembly.
WHEN: Tuesday, Feb. 28, at 10 a.m.
