House Committee to Examine Change to Doe License Purchasing Process

WHAT: The House Game and Fisheries Committee, chaired by state Rep. Keith Gillespie (R-York), will hold a public hearing on House 231, legislation authored by state Rep. Grant Mullery (D-Luzerne) which would allow purchase of antlerless deer hunting licenses through the Pennsylvania Game Commission’s automated licensing system.

Doe licenses are currently purchased only through a county treasurer’s office.

WHEN: Tuesday, May 12, 9 a.m.

WHERE: Room G-50, Irvis Office Building, State Capitol.
