Health Care Mandates to be Focus of House Insurance Committee Meeting
WHAT: The House Insurance Committee, led by Rep. Tina Pickett (R-Bradford/Sullivan/Susquehanna) will hold an informational meeting to learn more about state health insurance mandates and the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
WHO: Pickett and members of the Insurance Committee. Speakers will include experts with the Pennsylvania Insurance Department; Department of Human Services; PA Health Care Cost Containment Council; and the following health insurers, Blue Cross of Northeast PA, Capital Blue Cross, Highmark, Independence Blue Cross, and the Insurance Federation of Pennsylvania.
