HARRISBURG — In response to the Biden Administration’s blockade of liquified natural gas (LNG), Rep. Martina White (R-Philadelphia) and the House Republican Policy Committee, led by Chairman Josh Kail (R-Beaver/Washington), convened a hearing and press conference to discuss the growing demand for LNG and the negative implications of halting new exportation.

Hosted in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission Mentored Youth Trout Day, the free event is designed for youths, ages 4-16 years, to enjoy the outdoors, pair up with a parent or mentor and learn the art of angling. The Belle Vernon Area Football Team was recognized for winning the 2023 PIAA Class AAA Championship in Harrisburg Monday. Players and coaches had an opportunity to meet Pennsylvania State Reps. Eric Davanzo and Ryan Warner, as well as Pennsylvania Senate President Pro Tem Kim Ward and Sen. Pat Stefano. The Leopards beat Northwestern Lehigh 38-7 in December to win the team’s second PIAA trophy in as many years.
