HARRISBURG -- Rep. Milou Mackenzie (R-Lehigh/Montgomery/Northampton) is pleased to announce that Cultural and Historical Support Grants totaling over $18,000 have been awarded to several historical organizations in the 131st Legislative District by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission (PHMC).

Mehaffie Announces PHMC Funding for Local Museums

HARRISBURG – Rep. Tom Mehaffie (R-Dauphin) announced the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission (PHMC) has awarded $4,000 to the Hershey History Center, $17,668 to the AACA Museum Inc. and $23,904 to the Hershey Story Museum. This funding has been awarded through PHMC’s Cultural and Historical Grant Program. The program provides general operating support to Pennsylvania museums and historical societies not directly supported by other state programs.

HARRISBURG – The Fiscal Code bill signed into law this week by Gov. Josh Shapiro includes an enhancement of Pennsylvania’s Child and Dependent Care Tax Credit, an issue that Rep. Ryan Mackenzie (R-Lehigh) has been advocating for since the introduction of his legislation on this topic back in February. The Fiscal Code is budget-related legislation that directs how state funding is to be spent.
