HARRISBURG – Fire and EMS companies throughout Schuylkill County have been awarded state grants totaling over $1.6 million to support their critical mission of protecting public safety, according to Reps. Joanne Stehr (R-Northumberland/Schuylkill), Jamie Barton (R-Berks/Schuylkill), Tim Twardzik (R-Schuylkill), and Sen. David Argall (R-29). A total of 101 agencies in Schuylkill County will receive grant funding.
