LAWRENCE COUNTY – Rep. HARRISBURG—On Dec. 30, 2024, an initiative put forward by Rep. Sheryl M. Delozier (R-Cumberland) took effect as part of Act 137 of 2024. Delozier’s contribution to the law, which received unanimous support in the House, corrected a Department of Health (DOH) discrepancy to ensure veterans and their spouses receive the Vital Statistics fee waiver they are entitled to for death certificates.
