Delozier Hosting Fall Document Shredding Event Sept. 4

HARRISBURG – Rep. Sheryl M. Delozier (R-Cumberland) is hosting a free fall document shredding event for residents of the 88th District on Thursday, Sept. 4, from 5-7 p.m. in the parking lot of the Hampden Township Pool, 5001 Hampden Park Drive in Mechanicsburg. For the first time, there will be two shredding trucks on-site.

Flick Hosts Lawmakers at Little League World Series for Regional Impact Talks

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT - On Thursday, more than two dozen lawmakers from the Pennsylvania House, Senate and United States Congress came to the Little League World Series (LLWS) to participate in a roundtable discussion and take in a few games. The event was a collaboration between Little League International and Rep. Jamie Flick (R-Lycoming/Union), whose district is host to the LLWS.

Tri-County Landfill Permit Denied

I am pleased to recognize that the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court has denied the permit application of Tri-County Industries to reopen and operate a municipal waste landfill on 99 acres of land located in Liberty and Pine Townships in Mercer County. The Commonwealth Court reversed the decision of the Department of Environmental Protection and the Pennsylvania Environmental Hearing Board, which had approved the issuance of the permit that would have fully restored the ability of Tri-County Industries to operate a permanent waste disposal site at the Liberty and Pine Township location. This location had previously operated as a permanent waste disposal site between 1950 and 1990 and has operated as a waste transfer facility since 1990.
