Barrar, House Committee to Consider Bill to Update First Responder Payments

WHAT: Rep. Steve Barrar (R-Chester/Delaware), chairman of the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, will hold a committee meeting to vote on two bills:

• House Bill 1013 would allow ambulance services to receive reimbursement when patients receive care but are not transported to the hospital.
• House Bill 824 would establish the National Guard Youth Challenge Program to assist at-risk high school youths and dropouts by helping them earn high school diplomas.
