HARRISBURG — Rep. Kathy Rapp (R-Warren/Forest/McKean) will again serve as majority chair of the bipartisan Pennsylvania House Pro-Life Caucus during the 2017-18 legislative session.
“As one of Pennsylvania’s most consistent and outspoken pro-life advocates, I am greatly honored to have another opportunity to move this bipartisan caucus forward during the next two years,” said Rapp. “Our mission—to stand united to preserve the major gains that have been made toward protecting the lives of the unborn in Pennsylvania and stopping any and all attempts to implement the taxpayer-funded practice of abortion on demand—also remains the same.”
In addition, Rapp will return to serve as a member of the House Education, Environmental Resources and Energy, and Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness committees.
“I am once again humbled to serve on precisely those committees where I can make the biggest difference for the citizens I serve in Crawford, Forest and Warren counties in terms of quality education, fiscal responsibility, limited regulation, job creation and protecting the sanctity of human life for all Pennsylvania citizens,” said Rapp.
