HARRISBURG – Rep. David Millard (R-Berwick) took the oath of office on Tuesday, Jan. 3, for his eighth term in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. He was joined at the Capitol ceremony by family and friends.
“It is an honor to serve Pennsylvanians in the state legislature. There are many critical issues facing our Commonwealth and I look forward to both the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead,” said Millard.
In the previous session, Millard’s legislation to update all-terrain vehicle restrictions for youth riders was signed into law. This session, he plans to focus on the state’s opioid abuse crisis and its impact on rural Pennsylvanians. He will also continue standing up for the state’s taxpayers throughout the budget process, and look for economic growth opportunities for Columbia County.
