HARRISBURG – Rep. Tracy Pennycuick (R-Montgomery) today was sworn in as the state representative of the 147th Legislative District in Montgomery County for the 2021-22 Legislative Session.
“I am humbled to have been given this opportunity to serve the residents and businesses of the 147th District,” said Pennycuick. “In order to make sure I am able to hit the ground running, I have been meeting with folks across the district during the month of December, as well as been in communication with my colleagues in Harrisburg. We have a lot of work ahead of us in order to strengthen the economy, restore trust in the election system and continue to meet any health care demands we have in response to the pandemic.”
Pennycuick was elected to office following the retirement of former Rep. Marcy Toepel. She is a U.S. Army combat veteran who retired after 26 years of both active and reserve service. She has also worked in the business consulting industry, aviation services industry and has been a successful small business owner.
“I am excited to learn what House committees I have been assigned to and begin to examine and introduce legislation that will improve the quality of life here in Pennsylvania,” said Pennycuick. “I also want to encourage area residents to make use of the many services my staff and I provide in both the Gilbertsville and Harleysville district offices. My door is always open!”
Pennycuick’s district offices are located at 1885 Swamp Pike, Suite 107, in Gilbertsville and 410 Main St., Suite 200, in Harleysville. The telephone numbers for the offices are 610-323-3299 (Gilbertsville) and 215-256-6030 (Harleysville).
