HARRISBURG - Today, Rep. Frank Ryan (R-Lebanon) took the oath of office and officially began his third term as a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
A fiscal watchdog, Ryan has been a tireless advocate for lean and sensible budgets, pension reform and increased government transparency. He has actively fought for businesses hampered by the Wolf administration’s COVID-19 mitigation measures, and he is currently leading an effort to ensure election integrity in the Commonwealth.
“I am grateful for the confidence and support of the citizens of the 101st Legislative District and for the privilege of serving them for another term,” said Ryan. “We are bracing for another challenging budget this year, which has been exacerbated by the pandemic. Lives have been disrupted and many businesses, families and individuals are experiencing financial hardship. I will continue my work to keep businesses open, residents working and our children in school.
I am also working to fix flaws in our election system and will continue my work to eliminate property taxes and adopt meaningful fiscal reforms.”
Ryan is expected to receive his committee assignments for the new term later this week.
Following today’s ceremony, Ryan made the following remarks here.
