Election reform tops the Legislator’s priority list
HARRISBURG – Marking the beginning of the 205th Pennsylvania General Assembly session, Rep. Mike Puskaric (R-Allegheny/Washington) took the oath of office for his second term to serve the residents of the 39th Legislative District.
“This session begins with some very serious challenges and I am ready to work hard to meet the expectations of the district,” said Puskaric.
According to Puskaric a major challenge for legislators is election reform. He will be introducing three bills to address the critical need to reform our election process. In addition, Puskaric will be working to bring about solutions we face economically due to the coronavirus pandemic, as well as holding the line on taxes and spending, infrastructure improvements and health care.
“I am disappointed that we have had a climate here, and on the federal level, that has prevented substantive action on some issues, and that must end now,” said Puskaric. “I will continue to collaborate with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to create commonsense policies that will benefit all Pennsylvania citizens.”
As a strong business person, Puskaric also describes himself as a strong supporter for state’s rights, Second Amendment rights and school choice.
To ensure continuity of constituent service, Puskaric’s district office is open for business. The office is located at 1633 Route 51, Suite G-102 in Jefferson Hills. It is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and the telephone number is 412-382-2009.
“My staff is happy to help anyone who walks through the door or calls or emails the office,” said Puskaric.
Puskaric also encouraged constituents to visit his website at
