HARRISBURG – Rep. Carrie Lewis DelRosso (R-Allegheny/Westmoreland) today took the oath of office to begin the 2021-22 Legislative Session in the state House of Representatives working for the 33rd District.

With this ceremony, Lewis DelRosso begins her first term in office. The day’s proceedings also included the formal election of Rep. Bryan Cutler (R-Lancaster) as House speaker, as well as a vote on rules to govern the body for the next two years.

“The seriousness of the work I have been given to accomplish for residents of the 33rd District truly struck me as I took the oath of office this afternoon. It’s an enormous responsibility that I will work every day to meet,” Lewis DelRosso said. “The faith voters put in me is more motivating than I imagined.”

The House will return to voting session on Jan. 11. Lewis DelRosso has not yet been assigned to the committees on which she’ll serve, but will announce that information when it is available.

On Tuesday, Jan. 5, Rep. Carrie Lewis DelRosso (R-Allegheny/Westmoreland) prepared to take the oath of office for the 2021-22 Legislative Session to begin serving residents of the 33rd District.
