HARRISBURG – Yesterday, state Rep. Rosemary Brown (R-Monroe/Pike) took the oath of office and now begins her sixth term with the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 2021-22 legislative session.
“I am extremely honored to continue serving the 189th Legislative District,” said Brown. “I look forward to working with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to create beneficial legislative solutions for Pennsylvanians, especially during these trying times. I want to especially thank my family for their support while I’m in public service and those residing in the 189th district for their continued faith and confidence in my work for them. It is an extremely difficult time to serve in government, which makes my commitment and work even that much more critical.”
As the new session begins, Brown’s legislative agenda continues to be focused on responsible good government; property tax reform, health care improvements; job creation and sustainability; stimulating the state economy; hands-free cell phone use, Lyme Disease and tick-borne illnesses; and private community living.
