WHAT: Rep. Gene DiGirolamo (R-Bucks), chairman of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) Legislative Oversight Committee, will hold a public hearing on separate championships, boundary and non-boundary schools, and classification of sports.
WHO: DiGirolamo and other committee members of the 2017-18 session, including Reps. Mike Reese (R-Westmoreland) and Robert F. Matzie (D-Beaver) and Sens. Scott Martin (R-Lancaster), Robert Tomlinson (R-Bucks) and Jay Costa (D-Allegheny). Those offering testimony will be representatives from the PIAA, the Pennsylvania Catholic Conference and the Pennsylvania Coalition of Public Charter Schools.
