WHAT: Rep. Joe Hackett (R-Delaware) will host a press conference to discuss the introduction of bipartisan legislation requiring all public, private and charter schools in Pennsylvania, grades K-12, conduct emergency school safety drills at least twice a year.
 
WHO: Hackett; Rep. Sid Kavulich (D-Lackawanna); Jack Whelan, Delaware County district attorney; Linda Cook, Pennsylvania State Education Association’s Southeast Region president, and fourth-grade teacher at Pennell Elementary School; Danielle Clark-Contrady, Penn Delco Education Association president, and second-grade teacher at Parkside Elementary School; Holly Renegar, Pennsylvania State Education Association’s Southeast Region representative, and school nurse at Pennell Elementary School; John Callahan, Pennsylvania School Boards Association’s senior director of government affairs; along with superintendents, school board members and chiefs of police throughout the 161st Legislative District.
