Jul. 14, 2025 / Press Release
HARRISBURG — Rep. Brad Roae (R-Crawford/Erie) issued the following statement in response to the $50.61 billion House Democrat state budget plan passed today:
“I voted ‘no’ on this reckless spending plan as it contains several billion dollars of deficit spending. If this budget plan became law, all of the reserve funds would be spent over the next two years and would require a multi-billion-dollar tax increase at that time.”
The House passed
House Bill 1330 by a 105 to 97 vote and sent it to the Senate for its consideration. For more information on the 2025-26 budget, visit
