WELLSBORO – Rep. Clint Owlett (R-Tioga/Bradford) is inviting area sportsmen and sportswomen to his upcoming Game Commission Night focusing on predators, specifically the Eastern coyote. A new addition to the event is the laser shot trailer, available to junior hunters to sharpen their shooting skills.
The main event will be held on Thursday, Sept. 18, from 6-8 p.m. at the Wellsboro Fire Company Annex, 21 East Ave., Wellsboro. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The laser shot trailer will be open to junior hunters, ages 12-16, from 5-6 p.m.
“We always get great feedback on our Game Commission nights because they are so informative,” Owlett said. “I’m excited to host the event again this year, and especially to add the laser shot trailer for the benefit of our junior hunters. This truly is a great event for the entire family.”
This year’s presentation will feature Pennsylvania Game Commission furbearer biologist Thomas Keller, who will talk about the Eastern coyote. He will be joined by local hunter Austin Dunham, who will share helpful tips on hunting predators in the Northern Tier.
A question-and-answer session will be held at the end of the presentation.
Admission is free, but registration is required both to attend the presentation and use the laser shot trailer, which is available only to junior hunters. To sign up, visit Owlett’s website at
