WHAT: Rep. Steve Barrar (R-Chester/Delaware), chairman of the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, will hold a committee meeting to vote on three bills:

House Bill 760 would designate Sept. 27 as First Responders Day in the Commonwealth each year.
•
House Bill 2274 would amend Title 35 (Health and Safety) to increase the membership of the Fire Safety Advisory Committee.
• Senate Resolution 260 would extend the report deadline for the Senate Resolution 6 Commission’s fire and emergency responder issues study from June 30 to Nov. 30.
