HARRISBURG – At the request of Speaker of the House Bryan Cutler, state Rep. Jim Struzzi (R-Indiana) has accepted an appointment to the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority (PENNVEST) for the 2021-22 Legislative Session. Struzzi served in a similar capacity last term following the resignation of Rep. Donna Oberlander (R-Clarion/Armstrong/Forest), who vacated the seat to become majority whip for the House Republican Caucus, and recommended him to fill the vacancy.

Karen Boback (R-Lackawanna/Luzerne/Wyoming) has been appointed as the first woman chairman of the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee by Speaker Bryan Cutler (R-Lancaster) for the 2021-22 session. Boback was recently sworn into her eighth term in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.

Tim Hennessey (R-Chester/Montgomery) to his second consecutive term as chairman of the House Transportation Committee.
