WHAT: House Speaker Mike Turzai (R-Allegheny) will hold a press conference to discuss the opioid crisis in Pennsylvania and highlight a new measure. House Bill 18/Senate Bill 936 will combat the fact that opioids have been prescribed to injured Pennsylvania workers far more than in other states and with higher dosage amounts, making it all the more likely workers fall prey to addiction and overdose.
