Interchange Named for Fallen Trooper

MIFFLINTOWN – A dedication ceremony held today honored Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Jacques F. Rougeau Jr., who died last summer in the line of duty. The ceremony named the interchange where U.S. Routes 22/322 meet Arch Rock Road.

House GOP Policy Committee Hosts Hearing on Consumer-Focused Energy Policy

Watro to Host PENNVEST Informational Event April 11

Farry, Tomlinson Announce Grant for Bensalem Township School District

HARRISBURG –Sen. Frank Farry (R-Bucks) and Rep. Kathleen “K.C.” Tomlinson (R-Bucks) today announced that Bensalem Township School District received a $1,833,360 grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Education though the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act (BSCA) Stronger Connections Grant (SCG).

Phillips-Hill, Grove Honor 100-Year-Old World War II Veteran Quentin Stambaugh

HARRISBURG – State Sen. Kristin Phillips-Hill (R-York) and State Rep. Seth Grove (R-York) honored 100-year-old Spring Grove resident Quentin Stambaugh in Harrisburg this week. Stambaugh, a staple of the Spring Grove community, honorably served our nation in World War II. After returning home from World War II, he worked at PH Gladfelter and later served as a magistrate in York County for 24 years.

Watro’s ‘National Medal of Honor Day’ Resolution Advances

HARRISBURG – A resolution recognizing March 25, 2024, as “National Medal of Honor Day” in Pennsylvania, sponsored by Rep. Dane Watro (R-Luzerne/Schuylkill), today was unanimously approved by the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee. House Resolution 347 will next be considered by the full House of Representatives.
