WHAT: The Number Nine Road bridge which crosses a tributary of the West Branch of the Susquehanna River in Susquehanna Township, Cambria County, will be renamed the Petty Office Iral William Stoltz Memorial Bridge. Stoltz, who was born in West Carroll Township, was one of eleven sailors killed in action in 1941 when the USS Kearny was attacked by a wolfpack of German U-Boats while escorting a convoy.

HARRISBURG – Rep. Parke Wentling (R-Mercer) announced that Helping Hands Ministries will be receiving a sizeable grant from the Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP).
