HARRISBURG – State Rep. Jim Struzzi (R-Indiana) today announced that school districts in the 62nd Legislative District have been awarded $171,834 in Safe Schools Target Grants, administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE). Grants are awarded to schools to prevent and reduce violent incidents, to purchase safety and security-related equipment, and to provide for the training and compensation of school resource and police officers.
