HARRISBURG – State lawmakers earlier this year approved a short-term stabilizing budget to fund state government through the end of November. State Rep. Mark Gillen (R-Berks/Lancaster) and his colleagues in the House today passed a balanced supplemental budget with no new taxes or borrowing that would fund state programs and services through the end of the fiscal year in June 2021. HARRISBURG – State Rep. Kurt Masser (R-Columbia/Montour/Northumberland) and other Harrisburg lawmakers earlier this year adopted a stabilizing budget to fund the state government through the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic. After evaluating the ways the pandemic has affected state revenues, Masser and his colleagues in the state House today approved a bipartisan balanced budget that would fund state government through the end of the fiscal year in June without adding any new state debt, creating any new taxes or raising any existing taxes.
