Petri Urges Wolf to Fill Vacancies on PHMC Board

HARRISBURG – In an Oct. 25 letter to Gov. Tom Wolf, Rep. Scott Petri (R-Bucks) asked the governor to act as soon as possible to fill appointments on the Historic Preservation Board of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission (PHMC). Doing so, Petri said, would save the Commonwealth a lot of money and make archived information easier to store and access.

Knowles: State Funding Should Be Held from Sanctuary Institutions of Higher Education

HARRISBURG – On Dec. 2, Rep. Jerry Knowles (R-Berks/Carbon/Schuylkill) circulated a co-sponsorship memo for legislation he intends to officially introduce in January. This bill would prohibit any institution of higher education in Pennsylvania that establishes itself as a “sanctuary campus” from receiving appropriations from the Commonwealth. He has received bipartisan support for this proposal.

This neighborhood in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County, worked with Kampf’s office and PECO to earn the opportunity to be a neighborhood pilot for the PECO Smart Natural Gas Conversion program. This project in Tredyffrin will be PECO’s largest of the pilot program.
