HARRISBURG – State Rep. Sue Helm (R-Dauphin/Lebanon) today announced that the House of Representatives has passed her legislation, House Bill 2868, which would provide protections for renters and homeowners impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The bill would amend the Mortgage and Rental Assistance Program, which is funded by the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act.

HARRISBURG – Pennsylvanians who buy health insurance on a new state-based exchange are seeing lower costs thanks to legislation introduced in the House and sponsored by Speaker Bryan Cutler (R-Lancaster). That is according to the Pennsylvanian Department of Insurance, which approved lower rates for 2021 and attributed the savings to House Bill 3, now known as Act 42 of 2019.

WHAT: A ceremony to unveil a new highway sign officially marking the newly designated Cpl. Mahlon L. Fink Iwo Jima Memorial Highway Interchange in Cumru Township. Fink was a Cumru Township resident and World War II veteran who served in the Marines and received a Purple Heart for his service at the Battle of Iwo Jima.
