Rader to Host Shredding/Fall Clean-Up Day at Pocono Raceway

Judiciary Committee Advances Boback Duty to Report Disappearance of a Child Bill

HARRISBURG – The House Judiciary Committee has passed legislation authored by state Rep. Karen Boback (R-Lackawanna/Luzerne/Wyoming) that would require a report about a missing child be made within 24 hours after his or her whereabouts became unknown. The bill does offer protection for guardians who have a legitimate reason to believe the child is safe with someone else.

Local Elected Officials to Host Small Business Roundtable

Cook Outraged by Gathering Limits

HARRISBURG – After U.S. District Judge Williams Stickman IV ruled Gov. Wolf’s gathering limits unconstitutional, a 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals allowed them to be put back into place. Gov. Wolf has since updated his gathering limit criteria, but it is still far from constitutional. Rep. Cook (R-Washington/Fayette) is outraged.
