Speaker Turzai, State and Regional Business Leaders to Tackle Marcellus Shale Tax Myths
WHAT: Roundtable and media event with Pennsylvania Speaker of the House Mike Turzai (R-Allegheny) to take on Marcellus Shale myths and unveil a vision for a 21st century Pennsylvania energy policy and the necessity of growing Marcellus/Utica Shale-related usage.
WHO: Turzai, Sen. Ryan Aument (R-Lancaster), House Majority Whip Bryan Cutler (R-Lancaster) and many House colleagues join local Lancaster/Reading/York area energy leaders and expert panelists in the natural gas industry and the manufacturing sector. The event will be moderated by Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry President Gene Barr.
WHY: Pennsylvania stands at the precipice of developing into a global energy hub, but the industry must be allowed to grow without onerous taxation while providing downstream benefits of natural gas to areas like Lancaster, Reading and York.
