House ERE Committee to Examine Long-Term Decommissioning Options for Solar Panels and Wind Turbines

WHAT: PA House Environmental Resources and Energy (ERE) Committee Majority Chairman Daryl Metcalfe (R-Butler) will convene a public hearing to receive testimony on legislation to assure the proper decommissioning, recycling and reclamation of solar panels and wind turbines (House Bill 2104).

WHO: The hearing will feature presentations from Zander Bischof, Cypress Creek Renewables; Scott Elias, Mid-Atlantic Solar Energy Industries Association; Chad Forcey, Pennsylvania Conservative Energy Forum; David Murray, Americans for Clean Power; and Darrin Youker, Pennsylvania Farm Bureau.

WHEN: Wednesday, Dec. 15, at 9 a.m.

WHERE: Room G-50, Irvis Office Building, State Capitol Complex, Harrisburg.
