HARRISBURG – Frustrated by Gov. Tom Wolf’s latest effort to deny funding to schools and critical human services, Rep. Stephen Bloom (R-Cumberland) issued the following statement:

“By vetoing the emergency funding bill, Gov. Wolf has just cut the lifeline for struggling schools and people in desperate need of help in programs like rape crisis centers and domestic violence shelters. The governor is putting his tax-and-spend agenda ahead of the well-being of the people he’s supposed to be serving. Instead, he’s using our kids and most vulnerable citizens as fiscal hostages.”
