WHAT: House Republican Policy Committee Chairman Joshua D. Kail (R-Beaver/Washington), Rep. Parke Wentling (R-Mercer) and other lawmakers will host a hearing titled “Strengthening Our Rural Communities” to discuss innovative ways to draw a stronger workforce to rural areas of Pennsylvania. Recruiting a stronger workforce will have positive economic impacts in the areas of the state that are facing population decline.
